The Israeli Sapphire is a fully powered air-purifying respirator (PAPR) hood system designed for teenagers and adults aged 13 and up. It provides full-head CBRN and NBC protection with powered Airflow, making it suitable for extended wear during emergencies, evacuations, and civil defense scenarios.
Unlike a standard gas mask, the Sapphire hood covers the entire head and does not require a face seal. This makes it compatible with beards, glasses, and facial hair of any length, without compromising protection.

old stock but 100% never used, the og battery even still works and doesn't leak like old duracells tend to do. it was meant for one time emergency use. you can either mod the device with 18650 battery and usb-c with bms or get usb-c rechargeable LM123A batteries to get this israeli medical grade old stock respirator to work for you on & on again. you can use any standard 40mm filter cartridge for your needs. im using it for asbestos & lead paint removal, feels safe thanks to the air pressure

Everything I expected was in the box. I checked the threads, visor and straps, then did a short fit test at home. Everything was fine.
Factory seal intact, canister clean, no marks. Exactly what I wanted for storage.
The mask seems well made, but I am still struggling to get the rear straps comfortable around the back of my head. I am keeping it, although the fit has not fully convinced me yet.
